I live in Cambridge, UK. I originally studied physics and philosophy as part of the Natural Sciences tripos at Trinity College, Cambridge. I then went on to spend 10 years as a software developer, and helped organize a couple of Science Fiction conventions in my spare time. Most recently I went back to university, and qualified as a secondary school Mathematics teacher.
